Made from the freshest duck livers, this amazing pâté has a silky-creamy texture. The livers were pan seared and flambé with a good dose of Cognac. Thyme is added to the pâté preparations to infuse it with a sharp, almost minty, earthy with floral hints and a tinge sweet peppery flavour. With the smooth, consistent spread-like texture, this pâté is excellent when served with crackers or toast.
Properly refrigerated between 2° and 4°C. Consume 5 days after opening. It can also be frozen for a month.
Ingredients: duck liver, smoked bacon, duck fat, goose fat, butter, cream (35% fat), cognac, thyme, salt, pepper, shallots, garlic and red wine vinegar.
